About the Mitsubishi eK

The second-generation Mitsubishi eK Wagon, launched in September 2006, refined the 'semi-tall' packaging that made its predecessor a Japanese domestic market staple. Built to comply with strict kei car regulations, it features a boxy silhouette designed to maximise interior volume while remaining under 3.4 metres in length. The H82W generation introduced a unique power-sliding rear door on the passenger side, a luxury feature rarely seen in the segment at the time. While its 660cc 3G83 engine is modest, the eK Wagon is prized by collectors and urban dwellers for its extreme maneuverability and clever interior storage solutions.
