About the Mini John Cooper Works GP F56
The third-generation John Cooper Works GP is a track-focused, two-seat evolution of the F56 Mini Hatch. It features a 306 hp B48 engine shared with the BMW M135i, paired exclusively with an 8-speed automatic transmission and a mechanical limited-slip differential. Distinguished by its radical carbon-fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP) wheel arch 'spats' and a massive double-wing roof spoiler, it was designed to lap the Nürburgring in under eight minutes. While praised for its immense speed and grip, the GP3 is noted for its uncompromisingly stiff ride and significant torque steer on uneven surfaces.
