About the MG XPower SV

The MG XPower SV is a rare, carbon-bodied sports car developed during the final years of the MG Rover Group. Based on the chassis of the Qvale Mangusta, it was styled by Peter Stevens to project a far more aggressive, track-inspired aesthetic. Underneath its lightweight composite skin lies a robust Ford Modular V8, providing a visceral, old-school driving experience. Despite its high-tech construction and McLaren F1-linked design pedigree, the SV's high price and MG's financial instability limited production to just 82 units, making it a significant and sought-after modern classic.
