About the MG XPower SV-R
The MG XPower SV-R was the ultimate evolution of MG Rover's ambitious attempt to build a world-class supercar. Based on the Qvale Mangusta chassis and featuring a full carbon-fibre body designed by Peter Stevens, it was powered by a Roush-tuned 5.0-litre Ford Modular V8. Despite its aggressive styling and impressive performance, the project was a commercial failure, with production ending abruptly when MG Rover entered administration in 2005. Today, it is a highly sought-after rarity, prized for its brutal character and unique Anglo-Italian-American heritage.
