About the MG TC
Launched in 1945 as MG's first post-war model, the TC Midget is the archetype of the 'square-rigger' British sports car. Though mechanically similar to the pre-war TB, it featured a slightly wider cockpit and improved suspension with rubber bushings and hydraulic dampers. Its significance is cemented by its impact on the United States; returning GIs brought their love for the nimble RHD roadster home, effectively launching the American sports car movement. Driving a TC is a visceral, analogue experience defined by its direct steering, tall 19-inch wire wheels, and the charismatic chatter of the XPAG engine.
