About the MG HS Mk2
The second-generation MG HS debuted in 2024, marking a significant step forward in design and technology for the brand's flagship SUV. Based on the Roewe RX5, it features a more aggressive 'shark-face' front end and a substantially upgraded interior dominated by twin 12.3-inch high-definition screens. The 1.5-litre T-GDI petrol engine remains the entry point, offering a balance of efficiency and adequate performance for family duties. While it retains MG's core value proposition, this generation introduces improved materials and a more sophisticated suite of driver assistance systems known as MG Pilot.
