About the Renault Kadjar
The Renault Kadjar was a cornerstone of the brand's SUV offensive, sharing its CMF-CD platform with the Nissan Qashqai but offering a softer, more comfort-oriented ride. The 2019 facelift introduced the 1.3-litre TCe engine, a unit co-developed with Daimler that provided significantly better refinement and efficiency than the outgoing 1.2-litre motor. In GT Line trim, the Kadjar featured premium touches like full LED headlights, 19-inch 'Zeus' alloy wheels, and a 360-degree camera. While it lacked the sharpest handling in its class, its spacious interior and large 472-litre boot made it a highly practical family choice before it was succeeded by the Austral.
