About the Lamborghini Countach LP400
The LP400 'Periscopio' is the earliest and most sought-after production version of the Countach, defined by its clean lines and lack of aerodynamic appendages. It earned its nickname from the unique roof notch and internal mirror system designed to provide rearward visibility over the mid-mounted V12. Unlike later models, the LP400 features a narrow body and slim tyres, offering the most direct and unadulterated driving experience of the series. Its radical spaceframe chassis and longitudinal engine layout set the template for every flagship Lamborghini that followed.

Lamborghini Countach LP400 fun facts
