About the Lamborghini Miura P400

Unveiled in 1966, the P400 put a transverse V12 behind the seats in a low Bertone body drawn by Marcello Gandini. Its daring layout and dramatic proportions changed expectations of what a roadgoing supercar could be. The early car is raw and demanding, with a shared engine-and-gearbox oil supply and vivid V12 sound. The later P400 S is a distinct uprated version, so its figures are not used here.
