About the Lamborghini Diablo VT
Launched in 1993, the Diablo VT (Viscous Traction) addressed the original car's notorious handling difficulties by introducing an all-wheel-drive system capable of sending up to 25% of torque to the front wheels. While it retained the 492 hp 5.7-litre V12, the VT brought significant refinements including power steering, four-piston Brembo brakes, and electronically adjustable Koni dampers. Visually, the VT is distinguished by air intakes under the front indicators and a revised dashboard. It remains a pivotal model in Lamborghini history, establishing the all-wheel-drive layout that would define the brand's flagship supercars for decades to come.
