About the Ascari KZ1
The Ascari KZ1 was named after the initials of the company's owner, Klaas Zwart, and was hand-built in Banbury, England. It features a carbon-fibre monocoque and a mid-mounted S62 V8 engine sourced from the BMW E39 M5, tuned to produce 500 bhp. The car was designed with a focus on purity, eschewing electronic driver aids in favour of a raw, mechanical driving experience. Despite its performance, the interior was surprisingly well-appointed with leather and aluminium, reflecting its high original price tag.
