About the Lada Vesta
Launched in late 2015, the Lada Vesta represented a significant leap forward for AvtoVAZ, moving away from Soviet-era platforms to a modern architecture developed with Renault-Nissan input. It was designed by Steve Mattin, formerly of Volvo and Mercedes-Benz, introducing the 'X-style' visual identity that defined the brand's new era. The 1.6-litre engine is a robust, locally produced unit known for its simplicity and ease of maintenance in harsh climates. While primarily a domestic success in Russia, it was also exported to several European markets as a budget alternative to the Dacia Logan.
