About the Jaguar F-Type Project 7 X152
The F-Type Project 7 is the first production vehicle from Jaguar Land Rover's Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) division. Inspired by the legendary D-Type, it features a distinctive rear fairing, a cut-down windscreen, and a bespoke carbon-fibre aerodynamic package. It is powered by a 575 PS version of Jaguar's supercharged V8, making it the most powerful production Jaguar at the time of its launch. With a limited run of just 250 units, it is a highly collectible modern classic that offers a raw, rear-wheel-drive experience compared to the later all-wheel-drive SVR.

Jaguar F-Type Project 7 X152 fun facts
- The '7' in the name pays homage to Jaguar's seven outright victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
- The car features a 'Bimini' clip-on roof, a lightweight manual solution designed for temporary weather protection rather than high-speed touring.
- Despite its aggressive looks, the Project 7 is 80kg lighter than the standard F-Type V8 S Convertible thanks to extensive use of carbon fibre and the removal of the heavy folding roof mechanism.
