About the Bentley Continental GT3-R
Inspired by the Continental GT3 race car that secured Bentley's first British victory in 84 years, the GT3-R is a lightened, two-seat special edition. It features a retuned 4.0-litre V8 with high-boost turbochargers and shorter gearing for explosive low-end response, making it the fastest-accelerating Bentley at its launch. Weight was reduced by 100kg through the removal of rear seats and the addition of a titanium exhaust and carbon-fibre components. Despite its track-focused intent, it retains a luxurious Alcantara-clad cabin, though its sheer mass and AWD system make it more of a point-and-shoot weapon than a nimble circuit car.
