About the Honda Prelude BB1

The fourth-generation Honda Prelude marked a radical departure from its predecessors, ditching pop-up headlights for a wider, more aggressive stance. The 2.3i trim (known as the Si in North America) utilised the H23A engine, providing a torquey alternative to the high-revving VTEC models. Its most distinctive feature is the 'Concentrated Target Meter' dashboard, a futuristic digital-analogue display spanning the entire width of the cabin. This generation also introduced an electronically controlled four-wheel steering system, significantly enhancing low-speed manoeuvrability and high-speed stability.
