About the Honda Odyssey
The second-generation JDM Honda Odyssey (RA6) was a distinct departure from the larger, sliding-door North American model of the same era. Built on a modified Accord platform, it retained the first generation's conventional hinged doors and low roofline, offering a more car-like driving experience with double-wishbone suspension at all four corners. The 2.3-litre F23A engine provided adequate power for urban Japanese environments, though it lacked the punch of the 3.0-litre V6 variant. Today, it is increasingly sought after by JDM enthusiasts as a practical, reliable modern classic that fits where larger MPVs cannot.
