About the Honda CR-X del Sol
The CR-X del Sol replaced the iconic second-generation CR-X, shifting from a kammback hatchback to a targa-top roadster design. The range-topping VTi trim features the B16A2 engine, a technical marvel of the 1990s that delivers 100 bhp per litre without forced induction. While it traded some of its predecessor's sharp handling for increased refinement and a heavier chassis, the VTi remains a sought-after modern classic for its 8,200 rpm redline. European and Japanese markets also received the 'TransTop' option, an automated roof mechanism that stows the targa panel into the boot.
