About the Toyota Starlet Glanza V P90
The Glanza V was the final turbocharged evolution of the Toyota Starlet, succeeding the cult-classic EP82 GT Turbo. Built on the P90-generation chassis, it retained the 4E-FTE engine but featured revised ECU mapping and a slightly lighter, more rigid body. While it was never officially sold outside Japan, it became a grey-import icon in the UK and Ireland due to its tuning potential and giant-killing performance. Its combination of a sub-1,000kg kerb weight and a punchy CT9 turbocharger makes it a quintessential 1990s 'pocket rocket'.
