About the Ford C-Max Mk2
The second-generation Ford C-Max, launched in 2010, brought the sharp driving dynamics of the Mk3 Focus to the compact MPV segment. The 2015 facelift introduced the 1.0-litre EcoBoost engine to the range, offering a surprising balance of efficiency and torque for a small-displacement unit. While the Zetec trim was the entry-level volume seller, it retained the model's signature 'Control Blade' multi-link rear suspension, making it one of the best-handling cars in its class. Production ended in 2019 as consumer preference shifted decisively toward SUVs.
