About the Chevrolet Spin
The Chevrolet Spin was developed by GM do Brasil to replace the ageing Meriva and Zafira models in South American and Southeast Asian markets. Built on the Gamma II platform, it was designed as a functional three-row compact MPV capable of seating up to seven passengers. The 1.8-litre Econo.Flex engine was specifically tuned to run on both petrol and ethanol, catering to the Brazilian market's requirements. While it lacks the refinement of European MPVs, it gained a reputation for durability and interior space efficiency in developing economies.
