About the Fiat Panda 169
The second-generation Fiat Panda, internal code 169, was a critical success that won the 2004 European Car of the Year award. Designed by Giuliano Biasio for Bertone, it replaced the long-running original Panda with a taller 'mini-MPV' silhouette that maximised interior space within a tiny footprint. The 1.2-litre Dynamic trim was the mainstay of the range, offering a balance of frugality and enough power for urban environments. It is remembered for its light 'City' mode steering and robust, simple mechanicals that made it a staple of European streets for nearly a decade.
