About the Fiat 10 HP
The Fiat 10 HP was a significant evolution for the fledgling Fabbrica Italiana Automobili Torino, succeeding the 3.5 HP and 6 HP models. It featured a front-mounted 1.1-litre twin-cylinder engine, a departure from the rear-engine layout of its predecessors, and utilised a chain-drive system to the rear wheels. As one of the earliest examples of Italian automotive engineering, it helped establish Fiat's reputation for reliability and performance in the early 20th century. Surviving examples are extremely rare and are typically found in major museum collections or high-end concours events.
