About the Dodge Charger

The second-generation Charger brought a dramatic fastback-influenced hardtop shape to Dodge’s B-body range in 1968. For 1969 the mild 318 V8 remained a standard engine, while the R/T and rare Daytona offered far more power and racing pedigree. This base car is a comfortable, torquey cruiser rather than a Hemi-powered drag-strip special. Rust repairs, factory specification and provenance are especially important when buying one.
