About the Chrysler Pacifica CS
The Chrysler Pacifica (CS) was the first vehicle developed following the 1998 DaimlerChrysler merger, designed to blend the attributes of a minivan, SUV, and luxury sedan. Marketed as a 'Sports Tourer', it featured a car-based platform and three rows of seating, though it lacked the sliding doors of a traditional minivan. The 3.5-litre V6 engine, shared with the Chrysler 300M, was often criticised for being underpowered given the vehicle's significant kerb weight. While it pioneered the modern crossover segment, early reliability issues and high fuel consumption hindered its long-term success.
