About the Buick LeSabre
The seventh-generation Buick LeSabre debuted for the 1992 model year, moving away from the boxy 1980s aesthetic toward a more aerodynamic 'bio-design' language. Built on the GM H-body platform, it prioritised a smooth, isolated ride and interior room, famously offering seating for six via its front split-bench seat. The 3.8-litre '3800' V6 engine is the car's centrepiece, widely regarded as one of General Motors' most reliable and durable powerplants. While not a performance car, its consistent sales success made it America's best-selling full-size sedan for much of the 1990s.
