About the BMW M3 CS G80
The G80-generation M3 CS is a limited-run, high-performance evolution of the M3 Competition, designed to bridge the gap between a daily driver and a track weapon. It features a 40 hp increase over the standard Competition model, achieved through higher boost pressures and revised engine management for its S58 straight-six. Weight is reduced by approximately 20 kg through the extensive use of carbon fibre-reinforced plastic (CFRP) for the bonnet, front splitter, rear diffuser, and interior components. The M xDrive system is specifically tuned for the CS, providing immense traction while maintaining a rear-biased character for involving dynamics.
