About the Mercedes-Benz CLK 63 AMG Black Series C209
The CLK 63 AMG Black Series was the second model to wear the 'Black Series' badge and the first to be sold in North America. Inspired by the 2006 F1 Safety Car, it features a significantly widened track, flared carbon-fibre reinforced plastic wheel arches, and a track-tuned adjustable coilover suspension. The rear seats were removed to save weight, while the hand-built M156 V8 was tuned to deliver a visceral, high-revving soundtrack. It is widely regarded as one of the most uncompromising and charismatic driver's cars ever produced by AMG.
