About the Volkswagen California T7
The T7-generation California marks a significant shift for Volkswagen's legendary camper, moving from the Transporter commercial platform to the MQB Evo car platform shared with the Multivan. This transition brings vastly improved ride quality, modern driver assistance systems, and a more car-like driving position. For the first time, the California features dual sliding doors as standard, enabling a 'three-zone' living concept with a kitchen accessible from both inside and outside. The 2.0 TDI remains the workhorse of the range, offering the long-distance efficiency and low-end torque essential for a fully-laden camper.
