About the TVR Cerbera
The Cerbera was a landmark for TVR, being the first model to feature the company's own in-house engine, the AJP8. Designed by Al Melling, this 75-degree flat-plane crank V8 was effectively a racing engine for the road, delivering ferocious power in a lightweight glass-fibre body. The 4.5-litre variant was the range-topping V8, offering supercar-slaying performance that famously lacked ABS or traction control. Its interior is equally distinctive, featuring a '3+1' seating layout and a steering wheel with a secondary instrument pod underneath.
