About the Toyota Avanza W100
The third-generation Toyota Avanza, designated W100, represents the most significant engineering overhaul in the model's history. Launched in November 2021, it moved from its predecessors' rear-wheel-drive layout, which paired a body-on-frame front with a monocoque rear, to the front-wheel-drive Daihatsu New Global Architecture (DNGA). The new monocoque chassis improved interior packaging, ride comfort and fuel efficiency. The 1.5 G trim serves as the mainstream high-specification variant, featuring the 2NR-VE engine paired with a Dual-Mode CVT.
