About the Talbot Murena

The Talbot Murena was the successor to the Bagheera, developed by Matra and marketed under the Talbot brand following PSA's takeover of Chrysler Europe. It retained the distinctive three-abreast seating configuration, allowing for a compact mid-engined layout without sacrificing practicality. The 2.2-litre version utilised the 'Poissy' engine, providing significantly better performance and reliability than the smaller 1.6-litre variant. Its galvanised steel chassis was a major advancement, effectively solving the rust issues that plagued its predecessor.
