About the SEAT Exeo
The SEAT Exeo was introduced as a cost-effective entry into the executive saloon market, effectively repurposing the tooling and architecture of the B7-generation Audi A4. While the exterior received SEAT-specific front and rear styling, the interior was largely lifted from the Audi A4 Cabriolet, offering a higher level of fit and finish than previous SEAT models. The 2.0 TDI variant featured Volkswagen Group's common-rail diesel technology, providing better refinement than the older Pumpe-Düse units. It remains a popular used choice for those seeking Audi-level engineering and chassis dynamics at a significantly lower price point.

SEAT Exeo fun facts
- To begin production, SEAT transported the entire Audi A4 (B7) assembly line from Ingolstadt, Germany, to its Martorell plant in Spain using 1,200 lorries.
- The Exeo's dashboard is actually taken from the Audi A4 Cabriolet rather than the A4 Saloon because it featured round air vents that better suited SEAT's brand identity.
- Despite its Audi roots, the Exeo featured over 1,000 new parts and updated suspension settings to give it a slightly sportier feel than the original B7 A4.
