About the RUF CTR Anniversary
Unveiled at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show to mark 30 years of the original CTR, the Anniversary is RUF's first car built on a bespoke carbon-fibre monocoque. While it bears a striking resemblance to the 964-generation Porsche 911, it is a ground-up engineering feat featuring pushrod-actuated suspension and a RUF-developed 3.6-litre twin-turbo engine. The driving experience is defined by its analogue purity, eschewing modern digital aids for a seven-speed manual gearbox and a power-to-weight ratio that rivals modern hypercars. Only 50 units were produced, making it one of the most exclusive and sought-after modern supercars.

RUF CTR Anniversary fun facts
- Despite its classic 911 silhouette, the CTR Anniversary is not based on a Porsche chassis; it uses a unique carbon-fibre tub with steel subframes.
- The car features a fully integrated roll cage hidden behind the interior trim, maintaining the sleek look of the original Yellowbird while providing modern safety.
- The 3.6-litre engine is a direct evolution of the 'Mezger' block, producing 710 hp and allowing the car to reach 200 km/h in less than nine seconds.
