About the RUF CTR2
The RUF CTR2 succeeded the legendary 'Yellowbird' by taking the Porsche 993-generation 911 to extreme heights. Utilising a race-derived 3.6-litre flat-six based on the Porsche 962 Group C engine, it was briefly the world's fastest production car until the McLaren F1's official top speed run. Unlike the standard 993 Turbo, the CTR2 featured a unique integrated bi-level rear wing that doubled as an air intake for the intercoolers and a Kevlar-composite body. It remains a pinnacle of air-cooled engineering, offering visceral performance paired with RUF's signature refinement and an integrated roll cage.

RUF CTR2 rarity in CarSpot
The RUF CTR2 is a Unicorn card in CarSpot, with a rarity score of 100 out of 100. The rarest tier: hypercars, one-offs and cars built in tiny numbers, typically fewer than about 500. A Unicorn card is worth 320 XP.
