About the Aston Martin Valiant
The Aston Martin Valiant is a track-honed evolution of the Valour, originally conceived as a personal commission for Formula One driver Fernando Alonso. Developed by the 'Q by Aston Martin' bespoke division, it pairs a 745PS twin-turbo V12 with a six-speed manual transmission and an exposed gear linkage. Significant weight-saving measures include a 3D-printed rear subframe, magnesium torque tube, and 21-inch magnesium wheels with carbon aero-discs. Its aggressive aerodynamics, featuring a fixed rear wing and deep front splitter, are inspired by the 1980 'Muncher' Le Mans racer, making it one of the most visceral front-engined cars ever produced by the marque.

Aston Martin Valiant fun facts
- The Valiant features Multimatic Adaptive Spool Valve (ASV) dampers, a sophisticated suspension technology also found on the Ford Mustang GTD and various Le Mans racers.
- Its carbon fibre aero-disc wheel covers are a direct visual tribute to the RHAM/1 'Muncher' DBS V8 that competed at Le Mans in the late 1970s.
- The car's weight reduction program includes a motorsport-spec lithium-ion battery that alone saves 11.5kg compared to a standard unit.
