About the RUF CTR3
Unveiled in 2007 to mark the 20th anniversary of the original 'Yellowbird', the CTR3 represented RUF's transition from a Porsche tuner to a bespoke manufacturer. Unlike its predecessors, it utilizes a dedicated platform developed with Multimatic, featuring a 997-style front section mated to a custom 'birdcage' rear spaceframe. This mid-engine layout provides superior balance compared to the traditional rear-engine 911, while the Kevlar-carbon composite bodywork ensures a high power-to-weight ratio. With a top speed of 375 km/h, it remains one of the most extreme and collectible RUF creations ever produced.
