About the Rolls-Royce Phantom II
The Phantom II was the last of the large six-cylinder Rolls-Royce models, succeeding the New Phantom in 1929. It featured a completely new chassis with underslung rear springs, allowing for a lower ride height and more modern coachwork compared to its predecessor. The 7.7-litre engine was refined with a cross-flow cylinder head, providing smooth and silent power delivery that defined the brand's reputation. As the last car overseen by Henry Royce, it represents the pinnacle of the company's pre-war engineering excellence.
