About the Lancia Fulvia Coupe Rallye 1.6 HF
The Rallye 1.6 HF is the definitive evolution of the Lancia Fulvia, built to homologate the car for international competition. Nicknamed 'Fanalone' for its oversized inner headlights, it features a unique narrow-angle V4 engine canted at 45 degrees and a lightweight body with aluminium panels and no bumpers. Its front-wheel-drive layout provided exceptional traction on loose surfaces, leading Lancia to its first International Championship for Manufacturers title in 1972. For collectors, the Series 1 Fanalone is the most desirable variant, prized for its purity, mechanical sophistication, and direct link to the legendary Squadra Corse rally team.
