About the Rolls-Royce Phantom VI
The Rolls-Royce Phantom VI was the final model from the marque to be offered as a separate rolling chassis, representing the end of the traditional coachbuilding era. Most examples featured formal limousine bodies by Mulliner Park Ward, though a small number of landaulettes were also produced. The 6.2-litre V8 engine, carried over from the Phantom V, provided the 'adequate' power required to move its massive 2.7-tonne bulk with silent dignity. It served as the primary state car for Queen Elizabeth II for decades, cementing its status as the choice of royalty and heads of state worldwide.
