About the Renault Master Mk2
The second-generation Renault Master, developed in partnership with General Motors, represented a significant leap forward in van ergonomics and load-carrying efficiency. The 2006 facelift introduced a more modern front-end design and updated the 2.5-litre dCi common-rail diesel engine to meet Euro 4 emissions standards. Known for its low load floor and comfortable, car-like driving position, it became a popular choice for conversions ranging from ambulances to horseboxes. While primarily a utilitarian tool, its longevity and widespread use across Europe have made it a staple of the commercial vehicle market.
