About the Nissan Interstar
The first-generation Nissan Interstar was a rebadged version of the second-generation Renault Master, filling the large van slot in Nissan's European commercial line-up. Produced alongside the Master and Opel/Vauxhall Movano, it offered a range of wheelbases and roof heights to suit diverse business needs. The 2.5-litre dCi engine, sourced from Renault, provided a reliable balance of torque and efficiency for heavy-duty tasks. While primarily a utilitarian tool, its car-like dashboard and ergonomic seating made it a popular choice for long-distance logistics and conversions.
