About the Citroën Relay Mk2
The second-generation Citroën Relay, launched in 2006, was part of the Sevel joint venture alongside the Peugeot Boxer and Fiat Ducato. This 2.2-litre HDi variant utilised the 'Puma' engine co-developed by PSA and Ford, offering a balance of torque and efficiency for urban deliveries. It was highly regarded for its square load bay, which featured a best-in-class width between the wheel arches, allowing for easy loading of Euro-pallets. While the cabin was more utilitarian than some rivals, its massive payload capacity and variety of body lengths (L1 to L4) made it a staple of European logistics fleets until the 2014 facelift.
