About the Porsche Boxster 987
The 987-generation Boxster refined the mid-engine formula, offering a more premium interior and sharper styling than its 986 predecessor. For the 2007 model year, the 2.7-litre base model received a power bump to 245 hp thanks to the addition of VarioCam Plus technology. It is widely celebrated for its near-perfect weight distribution and communicative steering, often considered more agile than the contemporary 911. While the 'S' model offers more raw speed, the 2.7 is praised for its rev-happy nature and accessible performance on public roads.
