About the Porsche 911 Sport Classic 997
Launched at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show, the Sport Classic was the first limited-run project from the Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur department. It combines the wide-body stance of the Carrera 4S with a rear-wheel-drive chassis and a bespoke 3.8-litre engine featuring the X51 Powerkit. Distinctive design cues include a fixed 'ducktail' spoiler, a double-bubble roof, and 19-inch Fuchs-style wheels. With only 250 units produced, all finished in Sport Classic Grey, it is one of the most coveted modern 911s for its analogue driving experience and historical homage.
