About the Nissan Interstar

Introduced in early 2022, the Nissan Interstar was a rebranding of the NV400, itself a derivative of the third-generation Renault Master. This update aligned Nissan's largest commercial vehicle with the Primastar and Townstar nomenclature while introducing a refreshed front grille and updated interior tech. The 2.3-litre dCi engine, shared with the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance, provides reliable torque for heavy-duty tasks, though the platform's age is evident in its safety ratings. It remains a popular choice for fleet operators due to Nissan's competitive five-year warranty and extensive dealer network.
