About the Nissan Interstar
The third-generation Nissan Interstar, launched in 2024, is a badge-engineered sibling of the fourth-generation Renault Master. It replaces the long-running NV400, returning to the Interstar nameplate for Nissan's largest light commercial vehicle. The 2.3-litre dCi engine is a carryover from the previous generation's late updates, offering a proven twin-turbocharged diesel platform before the model transitions fully to the new 2.0-litre units and electric powertrains. It is highly regarded for its class-leading aerodynamics, which reduce drag by 20% compared to its predecessor, and a significantly modernized cabin designed as a mobile office.
