About the Mitsubishi Pajero V80
The fourth-generation Mitsubishi Shogun, known as the Pajero in other markets, remained a stalwart of the off-road world for fifteen years. The SG4 was the range-topping trim in the UK, featuring a long-wheelbase seven-seat configuration and a high level of equipment including leather upholstery and a premium sound system. While its ladder-frame chassis and heavy diesel engine felt dated on-road compared to monocoque rivals, its Super Select II 4WD system ensured exceptional performance in difficult terrain. It remains highly sought after by towers and rural drivers for its 3,500kg towing capacity and mechanical reliability.
