About the Land Rover Defender L663
Land Rover revealed the L663 Defender in 2019 and put it on sale in 2020, four years after the original ended production at Solihull. It replaced the old separate chassis and live axles with an aluminium monocoque and independent suspension, and it is built in Nitra, Slovakia. The range comes in three lengths, the three-door 90, the five-door 110 and the extended 130 with up to eight seats, plus the high-performance OCTA. The D200 was the entry diesel: a 3.0-litre six-cylinder mild hybrid driving all four wheels through an eight-speed automatic.
