About the Mini Cooper F66
The F66 generation Mini Cooper C represents a significant evolution of the brand's core hatchback, serving as the final internal combustion chapter for the iconic model. While the exterior styling is a heavy evolution of the previous F56, the interior is entirely new, featuring a circular OLED display and a simplified dashboard that pays homage to the 1959 original. Under the bonnet, the 1.5-litre three-cylinder engine has been refined to produce 156 PS, paired exclusively with a dual-clutch transmission as the manual option is retired. It retains the signature 'go-kart' handling characteristics through a slightly wider track and revised suspension tuning, despite a modest increase in kerb weight.
