About the MG MG5
Launched in 2020, the MG5 EV filled a unique niche as the first affordable electric estate car available in Europe. The Long Range version, introduced in 2021, upgraded the battery to 61.1kWh, providing a significantly improved WLTP range of 250 miles. While its styling is conservative, it is highly regarded by collectors and practical buyers for its value-for-money proposition and decent performance from its 156hp motor. The Excite trim served as the entry point for the Long Range line-up, featuring the MG Pilot driver assistance suite as standard.
